In conjunction with the Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care (EEC), CAI-FDC promotes, encourages and supports Family Child Care Educators in their pursuit of higher education. CAI-FDC provides support and technical assistance to educators who seek professional credentials, to include but not limited to CDA, NAFCC accreditation and The Quality Rating and Improvement Standards (QRIS).

The EEC supports qualified educators with the opportunity to reach college degrees in Early Childhood Education. Educators have the opportunity to participate in workshops and seminars offered throughout the region and through the CAI-FDC program.

Family Child Care Educators receive announced and unannounced technical/educational visits to their homes each month from their Educational Coordinator, Social Service Case Workers and Social Worker from the CAI-FDC department.

CAI-FDC ensures that all State regulations are followed through our intake process prior to placement of child/ren. We provide the necessary paper work and medical information to ensure that our staff and educators are knowledgeable of meeting the family’s needs.
