Nurse Aide Training

 

Community Action Inc.’s Nurse Aide Training Program is a Massachusetts Department of Public Health (DPH) approved training program and is licensed by the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education/Office of Proprietary Schools. Since its beginning in 1993, the program has graduated over three hundred students. This program is a vocational and skills training program leading to employment as a Certified Nurse Aide.

This is a 150-hour course that includes:

  • Nurse Aide Theory, clinical skills & clinical practice at a Long Term Care Facility under the supervision of an R.N.
  • Home Health Aide Theory

 

Program Options:

  • 6-week day program
    Mon – Fri, 8:30 am – 2:30 pm

    Tues & Thurs, 5 pm – 10 pm

Program Cost:

  • $725 tuition – $380 Deposit required
    Payment options available for balance.

    Some financial assistance is available to eligible applicants through Valley Works Career Center.

 

Eligibility:

Participants must be over 18, have a clean CORI and have a High School diploma or GED. Recent TB test required.
