Education/Mental Health Coordinator (E/MHC)

The E/MHC is a member of the program design and management team and the education content area team. The position requires a solid early childhood education background including knowledge of social/emotional competencies in young children. Knowledge of the Head Start Performance Standard, QRIS, ECERS and CLASS preferred. The E/MHC provides leadership and routine guidance to teachers and parents. The E/MHC must have strong supervisory skills and experience mentoring teachers. The E/MHC is the liaison to the Mental Health Consultant. Occasional night meetings and home visits required. A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related degree and significant experience working with preschool children required. Position is 40 hrs. Salary range $20.86 - $21.84/hr.
