Greetings on such a lovely day. Hope you can step out and enjoy the sunshine. FCC has a week full of programs planned for the week of May 21 to 25. To register for these programs, call us at 978-914-7893.

Infant/Toddler Play: Tuesday, May 22, 10 am

Children newborn to age 2 1/2 learn to explore free play,playing with others, and gross motor activities set up to encourage interaction, learning and fun!

Bring a Book to Life: Tuesday, May 22, 1 pm

Ms. Linda will lead an interactive reading of The Giant Hug. Kids will then create self-portraits that they can mail as a giant "hug" to a loved one.

Way of Life Family Karate: Tuesday, May 22, 4:30 pm

A fun, action-packed way for kids and their parents to keep active and healthy while learning self respect and discipline. $5/class suggested donation.

Bicycle/Scooter Safety with Officer Malone: Wednesday, May 23, 10 am

Haverhill Police Officer Paul Malone will set up an obstacle course to teach FCC kids about hand and traffic signals and road safety. Please bring bicycle or scooter and helmet.

PM Playgroup: Wednesday, May 23, 12 pm

Children newborn to age 8 can explore free play, art and gross motor activities set up to encourage interaction, learning, imagination and fun!

Gardening Fun: Thursday, May 24, 11 am

It's time to plant the vegetable and flower seedlings in the FCC garden so won't you join us to dig, plant and water? We will also color and make plant markers.

Park, Play, Picnic @ Mosley Woods: Friday, May 25, 11 am

Overlooking the Merrimack River, Mosley Woods is full of walking trails to explore, picnic tables and a nice shady, well-equipped playground (which includes a cool zipwire where kids can swing like Tarzan!). So pack a lunch and water and join us.


What is the Family & Community Connection?
FCC is a program serving all Haverhill, Bradford, Amesbury, Newburyport and surrounding area families with children ages birth through 8 years. FCC provides programs and services that are child centered and family focused. The purpose of FCC is to help parents access the resources and support they need to be better parents.  Parents assist with planning and implementing programs that meet their family's needs. Registration Information
Those who register by phone must speak to a staff member to confirm their registration in programs. Due to high volume of calls, we cannot accept messages for registration.

Failure to give 24hrs notice of cancellation 3 or more times will result in your removal from the other programs you have signed up for this session. Programs are designed for children 8yrs old and under.


Weather Cancellation Policy
In the event of bad weather, FCC programs will be canceled if Haverhill Public Schools are canceled. If School opening is delayed, then ONLY the afternoon activities will take place.
