On August 18th Community Action, Inc. awarded two $1,000 Gerald Goldman Memorial Scholarships to students pursuing higher education. WASHINGTON, DC, 5 August 2010 - The United States Senate attained an uncommon, bipartisan moment of consensus today as it approved by unanimous consent legislation reauthorizing WIC and the Child Nutrition Programs in advance of their slated 30 September expiry date.
