What is the Haverhill Family Network?
HFN is a program serving all Haverhill/Bradford families with children ages birth through three. HFN provides programs and services that are child centered and family focused. The purpose of HFN is to help parents access the resources and support they need to be better parents. Parents assist in planning and implementing programs that meet their family’s needs.

Who may become a member of the HFN?
Membership in HFN is open to all families in Haverhill with a child under the age of four years regardless of income.

What kind of resources and support does HFN offer?
Some of the services that HFN can provide, either directly or indirectly, include the following:

Playgroups

  • Weekly developmental infant (4-12 months, 12-18 months) and toddler (18-36 month) playgroups in collaboration with the Pentucket Area Early Intervention. Groups are led by Early Intervention professional staff accompanied by two assistants. Parents participate with their children in the infant playgroups. Parents with children in the toddler playgroup meet separately to discuss the joys and challenges of parenting, while their child is in playgroup.
  • Special themed playgroups and classes for children ages 0-5, including art, science, music, nutrition and literacy.

Parent Support Groups
