N. ESSEX WIC ACHIEVES “EXCEPTIONAL” RATING
CAI’s Northern Essex Women,
Infants and Children Program received the highest rating possible in their
annual performance review conducted by the Massachusetts Department of Public
Health.
The review covered FY04.
Every aspect of the
program’s operation including prenatal, breastfeeding and immunization goals,
caseload, management performance and program self-evaluation, participtation
in the Community Health Network Area program and fiscal responsibility were
thoroughly reviewed.An exceptional rating is difficult to achieve and
demonstrates the commitment and versatility of Program Director Hope Davenport
and her staff.
The entire administration
and staff of CAI also commended WIC for maintaining the highest standards of
client care.
