Community Services Drop In Center

The Drop-In Center, operated by Community Action, Inc., serves as Haverhill's only drop-in day program for the area's homeless and indigent individuals. The Drop-In Center is located at 16 Ashland Street, Haverhill – in the basement of the Universalist Unitarian Church.

Who can use the Drop-In Center?
The people we serve are the aged, indigent, homeless, and those at risk for substance abuse and HIV.

What does the Drop-In Center provide?
The Drop-In Center is a safe haven offering year round day shelter and extensive opportunities for receiving assistance and referrals. Offering:

  • Food (The Drop-In Center has a bag lunch on Monday, including all holidays, and light breakfast is available Monday through Friday.)
  • Clothing
  • Day Shelter (7:30 to noon Monday through Friday)
  • Medical, counseling and referral services
